simple pulley question
i'm running an ls pulley on my ls/vtec.. I've decided i want power steering, i have a gsr crank pulley lying around. Will that pulley work? Thanks guys
Just make sure the P/S pulley has the same drive as the crank pulley - '94 and newer use a serpentine belt, while the '90 to '93 use a V-belt.
here's some info on crank pulleys for the B-Series motors:
B18C5
'97 - '01
Type R motor - 195 HP - VTEC
Serp P/S pulley
Honda PN: 13810-P73-J01
B18C1
'94-'99
GS-R motor - 170 HP - VTEC
Serp P/S pulley
Honda PN: 13810-P72-013
B17A1
'92-'93
GS-R motor - 160 HP - VTEC
V-Belt P/S pulley
Honda PN: 13811-PR3-013
Non-VTEC motors:
B18B1
'94-'99
LS motor - 142 HP - non-VTEC
Serp P/S pulley
Honda PN: 13810-P75-013
B18A1
'92-'93
LS motor - 140 HP - non-VTEC
V-belt P/S pulley
Honda PN: 13811-PR4-003
