This thread is so full of contradictory and some just blatantly wrong info...
There was no JDM Acura Integra SI...
There was a Honda Integra Xsi, ZXi, Si-Vtec (from 93-95), SiR-G(95.5-01), and Type-R (96+), Type-Rx
This may not be 100% accurate but it's better than a lot of what else was spurted here :
Zxi had a 1.6l SOHC motor
Xsi had the 1.8 B18B (IIRC) RS/LS/SE/GS Equivalent
Si-Vtec, SiR-G had the 1.8l B18c GSR equivalent
Type-R, Type-Rx had the B18c Type R motor.

JDM Integras had a DC2 SiR version that came with the B18C (the block stamp should say this). The B18C is quite similar to the USDM B18C1 (GSR), but the JDM version has a higher compression ratio. They had several versions of this car: SiR-G and SiR-II (USDM round headlights).
s there any other way of telling wht motor i have apart from stamps on the block? ie pistons, head etc. p.s it has tht big inlet manifold tht looks like it curls over its self if tht help?
thank.s Chris.

B18C has 180 hp and 10.6 (same as the USDM type R) compression compared to 170 hp and 10.1 compression on the B18C1

does it have dohc vtec stamped on the valve cover? what does the top of the motor (valve cover is specific) resemble, this:

or this
i know its a swap)

top is a b18b1 and 2nd one is a b18c1

or this
i know its a swap)
top is a b18b1 and 2nd one is a b18c1
tht bottom 1! but it has a bigger inlet manifold on it. i was thinking tht the guy i bought the engine off of could have put a different head on like a b16 to make me think tht i have bought a b18 when it could only be a b16??? cause i have been told tht all b series heads are interchangable? i have taken the head off the engine and done bore mesurements and i got .... 81.02mm. is this a b16 or b18?
Ok you guys keep mentioning the SIR-II and SIR-G.
The SIR-II is the USDM front end in japan. the SIR-G is jdm front end.
Also One guy mentioned it. The SI-Vtec. Which im not sure what year it is but the other guy mentioned it. that does exist.
