Default Shorted Fuse Box/Wire ?

Ok so my parking lights, and instrument cluster lights went out yesterday. Went to check the fuse, it was blown. First thing I did was of course replace the fuse, it blew rite away. So I know I have some water in my taillights but I never bothered fixing it cause i'm lazy, but I thought maybe the power wasn't grounding because of the water or something. So I took the taillights out, emptied out the water and resealed them. The problem is still there.

Any idea's of trouble shooting a shorted fuse? everything else works fine.

Hate to say it but getting a manual find out the wires route and follow the harness till you can see where it it shorting out. (it can be a pain pending on how they ran the wire)

You most likely have a short to ground on the power wire of the cicuit. If you have a multi meter check to see which side has the problem the power in side or the power out side. Knowing this will shorten down inspection time. Also check all of your exterior and interior lights that do not work now and lock to see if any are bad, if one is it can be shorting out he system. But what ever you do don't just keep putting in fuses you can melt the wireing and also never you a different size fuse then what was in there orginally.

Well I found how the short was cause. Theft attempt #5, they took my turn signal out and cut the socket, put positive and negative together to try and blow my alarm. Luckily the guy who installed my alarm is good at what he does, and they only blew a couple of fuses.
