Shock question
I have some tokico blues on my GSR right now. I noticed when I jacked the car up that 3 of the 4 shocks fully extend to the ground. Is it time to replace them. Its really a pain in the *** trying to get the rim back while trying to push the the whole assembly up. Dont tokico's have a lifetime warranty?

ummm how far are you jacking up the car?? Can you take a pic showing what you're talking about? Sounds like something is majorly broken, or not bolted up correctly, but whatever it is it sounds extremely unsafe to be driving the car right now

Shocks do extend when the car is jacked up, they aren't supposed to keep the suspension compressed. To test the shocks, push down on each corner several times to see the rebound of each shock. If they are real easy to push up and down with no resistence or seem really bouncy, then they are probably shot. If you have bad shocks, it is like the springs are by themselves with no shock dampening at all.

yes but if all 4 tires are off the car, and 3 shocks are extended down to the floor as he says, and the 4th one is not, then something major is wrong somewhere.

you have tokico shocks with stock springs? of so, then i highly doubt that your shocks are blown; it sounds like you just did something wrong, like patrick said. i have blues on my integra, i just took off my front junk2 springs, because my car felt like a ******* pogostick. after 4 months and 4k driving like this, the shocks are still good. im not sure about the warranty, but it wouldnt surprise me if it said "for offroad use only; or else the warranty will be voided" or something to that effect. they come with a warranty card, im just too lazy to find it
