Default Shifting problem....

Well, to no one's surprise... another problem has arised from the Teg

Last night my friend was cool enough to wash/wax/clean the **** out of my car while I was at work. Keeping in mind this is one of my good friends, I don't think he would beat the living crap out of my car, but again, ya never know...

Anyway, after I got out of work, I took my car to get some gas. I noticed that shifting into 2nd thru 5th has gotten much more difficult than before. My tranny was buttery smooth before, even after I installed a short shifter. Now there is hesitiation when trying to put the car into gear, but only rolling. If you're stopped w/ the clutch in, you can row thru the gearbox just fine. But when rolling along, it takes some force to get it into gear, although I didn't feel any grinding. My friend claims he did nothing to the car, and I don't see how he could, considering he's been driving a 5 speed as long as I have. I drive the car hard at times and have never had a problem- until now. I'm gonna have the clutch bled, the tranny fluid changed, check the bolts to the shifter, etc... but until then, does anyone have a clue as to what's wrong with my car?

Well, I just got back from getting my clutch system bled and I topped off the tranny with some fresh Honda MTF. I'm still having the same problem as I described before. I'm guessing maybe weak pressure plate springs (fingers, whatever you want to call them) or a shitty slave cylinder... Any ideas?

Yeah, I rev-match every downshift. It doesn't really have anything to do with the problem, the damn thing just doesn't like going into gear easily. I guess I'm going to try installing a new slave cylinder tomorrow, if that doesn't clear up the problem... I don't know what will until I swap out the motor this winter.

Also, when I said 'shifting into 2nd thru 5th', I didn't mean downshifting. I meant 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 shifts. Sorry for any confusion.

The clutch also chatters upon engagement sometimes. I'm guessing the pressure plate is junk. Anyone else?
