Shifter thread
I am not sure of the actual diameter, but I do know it's larger on my 94 LS then my 00 GSR. I don't know if the diameter was always different between the LS and GSR or if they changed it in all models from 98 on.

That's odd, all Hondas I've seen so far have been 8mm diameter (not sure of the pitch). I know my 94 GS-R, my friend's 2002 EP3 Si, and my other friend's 2002 S2000, and my other friend's 95 Civic coupe all have the same thread because we can all interchange shift *****.
The thread is 8mm for sure, but I'm not sure of the pitch.

Okay folks, it's 10x1.5mm. I just checked it with a die on my shifter, and that's what it is. ALL Civics, Integras, S2000's, and RSX's use that same thread size on all their shift *****.
Just went outside with an M10x1.5 tap, which matches the threads exactly. Since I don't think they make an M8 larger than 1.25, I think this is it.

yeah, my M8 die would not fit over my shifter, obviosuly because the 10x1.5 one did.
I coulda sworn it was 8mm just from memory, but I was proven wrong.
