I'm looking into putting a D16Z6 and matching tranny in a late 90's teg but I'm not sure how it's going to work. Will the Z6 shift linkage (bars) work or will I need custom ones? Also, will the stock Z6 mounts work fine or, again, will I need customs?

I didn't post to hear the lame "just put a B in it" crap. I have my own plan for this thing and it doesn't involve dual cams.

 

By late 90's, you mean 94-01? You'll need all the 92-95 Civic mounts and T bracket, and standard Z6 linkage

Yes, I meant 3rd gen, but I'm trying to find a 98 or newer. Rust is the main killing point...

It'll be a bit still. I have everything but the Teg. Haven't been able to locate a rust free one in my area...
