After installing Eibach ProKit and Tokico Illuminas, my steering shakes while hard breaking. It did not use to do this before lowering the car. I already had the aligment checked. What could it be? Is it that now the brakes grab more because the car has a lower center of gravity?

 

did you torque everything to spec?

my friend's civic does that but thats what you get for having your brakes done at pep boys.

 

Check your brakes. Check if the pads are worn or are un evenly worn, and check the rotor for lateral runout (warped).

 

Sounds like warped rotors to me.

make sure you didn't knock balancing weights of your wheels too... my friends civic did that, he got his wheels balanced and it went away.

 

I cheked everyhing and found nothing! My car has only 20K miles!

 

R U sure the rotors ain't warped ?... maybe the pads need to be resurfaced/shaved...

 

check the brakes..they need help
