Shaking
I have brand new tires, wheels are were balanced last week, suspension is dialed in, alignment has been done. Toe is good, good pressure in tires. My car vibrates at about 80mph + and I can't figure out why.
I have a motor swap, motor mounts are good, the only thing I can say is that I have an aftermarket axle on the passenger side that is brand new, and the driver side boot is torn so I need to replace the boot... Any suggestions are thoughts as to what I can check or what may be the problem? Thanks in advance.

Try a different set of wheels and see if it goes away.

might be a defective wheel, the sidewall could have collapsed, also are ur noticing it in the front or rear and right or left, if its like ur front right tire, swap it with ur back left, thatll be easier to see if it is the actually tire, if not let us no

Also, if the wheels were defective wouldn't they be impossible to balance?? I watched my buddy balance them too, soI know I am not guessing.

Did this shaking exist before the engine swap/new tires/new alignment?
If so it's probably the cv joint on that one stock axle. If that's it get that ****** replaced fast! if that thing goes at speed on a fwd you are garunteed an major accident.

Why would they be impossible to balance? All it is, is just balancing weight. I meant as in your sidewall might be F'd but it will still inflate and balance. try swapping your rims first, if the wobble changes location when you change your tires, then you know its that. If not then def check ur CV joint like SicBastard said.

right, even a bent rim can be balanced
sure the hell won't be a smooth ride though
