Default Setup

Planned setup
Well I have really contemplated whether to boost or go N/A. Finally I decided that I want to go N/A, and Am only looking for 180whp. The motor is stock right now, the only that I already have/ will have is Fujitsubo power-Getter cat back exhaust, Headers(probably JDM 4-1). Then suspension of course. As for internals. I want to get a port and polish, CTR pistons(the only thing i'm not sure is if they will fit in the stock block, meaning I dont have to bore it more, they will fit in normal.) Toda camshafts (probably spec A), Toda valve springs, 3-angle valve job, Crower rods, skunk2 racing valves, Portflow titanium retainers, toda cam gears, and of course something to tune it with.

I would really like some feedback from people.
By the way, I have a 94 GSR.
Thanks

Default Re: Setup (pelon1987)

ctrs will fit...81mm=81mm...but check into your compression ratio w/ those..but you probably want to get your block honed and overbored to 81.25 and get oversized pistons to ensure proper clearances and ensure your rings seat correctlly w/ the rebuild.

also, i dont think oem pistons work well w/ forged rods (which you dont need for 180whp anyways)

w/ a 94 gsr, look into chrome or neptune for tuning..
