Default secondaries with hondata

When I got my hondata 4b I lost control of my secondaries. How would I go about putting in an rpm activated switch to control them now?

Hi it depends on your ecu. Which ecu are you using? You need the Gsr ecu (p72) to keep your secondary butterfly. Im a Hondata dealer if you need any help just email me. Thanks.

I have a P61, which is what I plan on keeping. I've read that I can hook up a rpm activated switch to the solenoid that controls the secondaries, but I don't know how exactly to do that (I'm not really sure where that solenoid is).

That is why it won't work. Im guessing you have a 94 and up gsr then in your car. If you want to hook it up to a rpm activated switch the solinoid is located underneath the intake manifold. It should be a black box. Hope that helps.

I've got a 92. I'll check tomorrow and see if it is in the same place. Where should I check out to get a switch to control it?

Do you have a 92 gsr motor in your car? the original motor? If so then you dont have secondary butterflies. Let me know if you have the b17 or b18c?

Unless you have a B18C1 in there, your intake manifold doesn't have secondaries. Does your engine look like this? That's my completely stock B17. If your intake mani looks the same, there are no secondaries.
