so i was going to buy a replica s2000 antenna kit from www.locustom.com (because i've seen a s2000 diy thing and it looked kinda hard to do with the actual s2000 antenna) but there sold out and won't have any back in stock until november..

so my question is is there any other alternatives?

 

I don't know about alt but I had no problem installing my s2k antenna. Took me about 30min. All I needed was a dremel with a grinding bit to widen the hole. Tool a little off checked fit took a little more off. Check ebay I got mine for 20 bucks plus 10 for shipping. And the antenna is a major improvement IMO for looks and performance.

 

but dont you need the whole little metal motor looking thingy? not just the antenna? because that s2000 antenna with its mounting electrical thingy cost like 120+

Just be paitent you'll come across one in your price range. Like I said I picked one up about 4 months ago for 20 bucks
