i have a 92 teg gsr, i just did a ls-vtec motor, and now running way to lean, block is all stock b18b1 and head is b17a1. my car runs for about 3 minutes then the header starts glowing orange, but if you touch the valve cover its still cool, what is going on? please help

 

timing maybe?

 

Bet you are running a stock ECU aren't you.
And have you checked timing as mentioned above.
You need a proper tune for that combo and the bump in compression!!!
