That is correct. The only differences btwn the LS and RS are cosmetic. Motor/drive train/etc are all the same.

Re: is RS and LS interchangable? (AcuraINTEGRAGSR)
they should be very similar as long as they are for the correct year, however im not too sure on how different the length is on the headers of the two, so there might need to be some cutting and welding done, but if you put a gsr engine in say a 95 ls, then just go with the 95 gsr exhaust or any 3rd gen gsr exhaust for that matter they are the same as far as i know, but im assuming youre talking about a 3rd gen integra to begin with, if you put the gsr engine in a 2nd gen integra, then get the 92-93 gsr exhaust so they should match up

Re: is RS and LS interchangable? (MajorPayne)
Let me first say that i will comment under the assumption that you are referring strictly to the 3rd gen teg.
Ok..
1. RS and LS do share the same motor/tranny and are very similar. And as already mentioned the LS has some more options unavailable to the RS like the sunroof. The RS comes standard with manual door locks. And was not equipped with a sunroof from factory. But the big one you missed was the fact that RS did no have ABS while the LS comes standard with ABS.
2.The hangers for either a gsr or ls exhaust are all in place i believe under the chassis of the car. So you can run either exhausts systems on the car. But you would probably need to choose either the RS/LS or GSR apps. and stick with it for Header, cat and exhaust because i believe the lenghts differ. However i vaguely recall someone stating that the exhuast ports on the head of all b18 motors is exactly the same so the flanges for any of the corresponding headers would mate up against it, but i cannot confirm that the hieght of all motors would clear.

yes... i have yet to see an aftermarket part that will fit one but not another.
