My buddy put a B-16 in his teg he is using the ecu that came W the motor (stock program I guess) and hes got black stuff all over the rear end from the exhaust does he need rings or is it running rich cause its the wrong computer? kindof green when it comes to tuning Thanks

My car gets that same thing on my rear end. Some people say it can be the exhaust system, running no cat, running rich, or burning oil. Does the car lose oil at all? and how is the gas mileage?

96 LS i think but does that matter? if the motor and ecu are not from that car it should take the kind vehicle out of the mix right?

 

car has a good cat doesnt consume oil so it must be the fuel/ air is to rich
