Default Ricey? or Performance?

Hey, Ive got a 95 b20vtec teggie I just bought an APEXi n1 Exhaust and put it on hoping it would sound good, It sounds good in VTEC and higher rpms, and alright down low, but when I decel it sounds awful and sometimes downlow it will sound bad at the right rpm, Anyone have any idea how to fix this ? I know part of the reason if not the whole one is the piping below is crush bent stock piping, should i go for new piping ? If i did would this help performance at all ? Help me De-Rice my muffler!!

Wait you have stock piping with the apexi N1 exhaust? If you do then gettin the piping would help a little performance wise, and should make the car louder.

Also, would headers help at all ? Some people say they would, not sure about that one.

w/ headers...your highend will pull harder but scream! piping can cost anywhere from $100-300 depending on what size and who you get it done by

custom crush piping is $100 or less.
custom mandrel bent piping is $200+
these prices are in my area of course which is southern california.
make sure you get a resonator with the custom piping though or it will sound more ricey heheh.

My header took out most of my highway drone during deceleration and coasting. It emits its own shreik around 6500-8k though.
