RHD Conversion Question??
getting a dc soon and I was thinking about doing a rhd conversion. I'm not all that sure on to doing so. I know that I will need the front clip. Is there anything other than the clip i would have to buy in order get the car on the road? Other things like a floor harness, etc...
Thanks in advance!!!

Out of curiousity, did you try searching at all? This has been covered several times, it's a common question really.
If you get the complete clip and I mean complete - then you'll be set.
If you're picking it up piece by piece, you'll need:
- RHD firewall
- RHD rack & pinion
- RHD steering column
- RHD brake hard lines or you can custom bend your own.
- RHD throttle cable or you can rig your own.
- RHD subframe
- RHD clutch/brake/gas pedal assembly
- Dash, headlight/turn signal switch assembly
- RHD Trunk/gas door lever and you'll need to rig the cable for RHD. Unless you want your passenger to pop the gas door for you.
- All the brackets that hold the fuse box, battery tray, and misc brackets that are the opposite of the US.
That should be it. The wire harness can just be flipped over for RHD. If you go with a wire tuck, then you need to undo the wires anyways. The real bitch part would be the brake lines and the firewall. Overall the cost is not too expensive, but the time and work needed is extensive. As you can maybe tell, I was in the process of doing the conversion and I had everything I needed. About midway though the removal of the spot welds for the firewall, I realized that it was a complete and utter waste of my time. Time I could be spending building my car instead of rebuilding my car. So I sold my RHD clip and went on my merry way.
Good luck and remember to use the search.
