Having an issue with my reverse lights that I noticed last night. 99 Gsr, 5sp trans. Reverse lights are on when car is driving. Pulled the fuse for back up lights along with unplugging the reverse light switch and lights stayed on. Checking voltage at the bulb socket, its roughly 8 volts. So the lights are dimmer while driving, and in reverse they see the full 12 volts and get brighter. They are LED bulbs in case that matters. So at this point I imagine theres a short somewhere but where would be the first place to look? Tried searching for a wiring diagram online for the circuit but no luck currently with the slow work internet I have here.
