Default replacing a clutch

I was wondering, when replacing your clutch do you have to get an entire kit? or can you just get a new clutch disk? i have an Exedy Organic right now that has a heavy duty pressure plate but would i have to replace that if i was to get a 6 puck ACT or something of the similar? I have searched but nothing came up that could help me. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

it all depends on how budget minded you are. most guys swap all of it as one. some will say if not that old or used just buy a disc. the shame of it all would be if you just changed the disc and the plate is pretty used up and you reuse it and it goes out you will have to do labor all over again.
