Default replacing battery terminals?

My battery terminals are old, corroded and the positive one likes to fall off when I try to start my car

How do I go about replacing them?

do I have to cut the old ones off and put the new ones on? of so what is the best way to cut them or remove them

Pry the crimp off. If you cut them, you might end up being too short.

Just cut them. Length shouldn't be an issue. Strip the wire and get new terminals from napa, 1.99 each.
