Default Remove Heatshield

has anyone removed that heatshield over the headers? or know if it can be done.

If they are rattling remove them. Weight saving is minimal at best.

I dunno...depends on how many headerS he has on there. Might be a significant weight reduction if he has 3+ headerS.

to put a header on i believe you have to remove the heat shield...just a hunch though....there really is no point to removing it unless you have a diff header....its like 4 bolts or something like that 3 in the front on my car and 2 in the back i believe

There is no real point to removing the heat shield.
