rear subframe

Hey guys so just wondering if i could jack my DA up by the rear subframe because my tow hook is in pretty rough shape.

Why not use the jack points?

Use the rear side jack points instead then. You can bend the subframe jacking from it, and since it's welded in place, fixing that is a bitch.

Yes, you can lift on the subframe. Use a rubber pad or a block of wood so you don't mar the surface. Don't crush the sway bar. Watch out for the fuel tank.

I dented the **** out of mine doing this, put something under it now I have a subframe brace so I just use that, stance lyfe so idc if I lost structural integrity...yes srs
