Rear Panel Replacement
We just recently picked up a 94 LS as a project and seems to have had a minor "run-in" with some type of object in the rear. The result was that the rear panel that goes under the lights but above the bumper is shot to hell.

Is there any way to replace this peace without cutting and welding?

its a bolt in part. Im actually also looking for a new one. Youll have to remove the rear interior panel and both of the interior quarter panel pieces to take it off. It is held on by 8 8mm nuts that are painted the same color as the car. the only other bolts on the rear are the bronze taillight nuts and the 4 black bumper bracket nuts.
To take off the rear panel just locate all the little clips that hold it on. To remove them you push in on the circle in the center and then remove the entire thing. Do that to all of them and the panel just lifts out.
To remove the side panels you have to fold down the rear seats, take out the speaker grills, and take off the little panels that cover the rear suspension tops. There are 2 bolts on the rear end of both panels and 2 screws near the front of both panels. The rest of the panels is held on by retention clips, so dont be afraid to pull.
Once all that is out you can easily unbolt and part on the back of the car.

I messed up that piece on my car too (although it was a g2) and the removal was pretty simple. I never found a replacement though... so I wish you the best of luck. For me, it was hard to find.
