Yeah, mandrel bending is a process that allows the diameter of a tube to stay the same through a bend, not pinching up. Imagine bending a garden hose until no water came out - that's what happens with crush bent pipes, though obviously not as extreme because you're not bending it that much. Also, getting a crush bent larger diameter exhaust doesn't necessarily make up for it, so
