It's been 4 years, but when I took mine out and replaced it, I ended up rigging the OEM pocket to the bottom of the radio for a stock appearance.

I also added a backstrap with security torx bolts so that the radio will NOT come out of the car, period. There is a 1/8" thick by 1/2" thick steel bar bolted to the car and the radio, on the back.

I recommend you add the backstrap of some sort.

Just don't buy a mounting kit from walmart....

And it's a good idea Not to break the bottom pocket, it fits the best with that.
