Default radar detector locations??

i was just wondering where i good spot to hide a radar detector would be, seeing as cops are more prone to give you a speeding ticket if they see you have one...

of course it would need to be visible to the driver, but not able to see from the window...

and preferably not in the main cig lighter

for the best performance out of your radar you should mount on the windshield just above the windshield wipers. i believe http://www.radartest.com wrote an article about that.

Windshield too. A cop can't give you a ticket if you aren't breaking the law!

I put mine in the upper right corner of the windshield where the passenger is, and have the wire run down the pillar and hardwired into car's electrical. A radar that has 360 should be high enough to see the rear window.
