Default Where to mount Valentine one?

hey guys, I just received the valentine one in the mail yesterday. I was wondering where you mounted yours? Right now I have it sitting in the middle of the windshield. The very top is occupied by my viper 690xv alarm. and is there any way to hide the wire?

I was looking at the concealed display, but it also said this..

The Concealed Display may be attached directly to the Lighter Adapter (see Note below). Or you may mount it anywhere using self-stick interlocking fasteners, then connect with the power cord (included) to either the Lighter Adapter or Direct-Wire Power Adapter (both included with V1).

so, I would still have the wire hanging, or no?

Mount it on top of the rearview mirror, tuck the wire into the headliner and run it down the A-pillar. Get the remote display and hook it up behind the stock clock location. Hardwire the V1 and the remote display behind your dash.

Search under my username and you'll see a detailed write-up about this.

I just mounted my valentine one in the middle of my windshield and ran it into the cigerette lighter and stuffed the excess cable in my glove compartment!
