quick vafc install question
i bought a vafc fromt someone and this is the harness that i got

the question is, the istructions that i got from apex said something about female/male connectors. i see the ones from the vafc side, am i missing the one for the ecu side?
last, what do i do with the blue wire for the VTM signal. is it a straight tap into the wire?

i'm not sure on the vtm...but i can tell you this, yes you are missing some of the the famale and male connectors b/c they would attach to the factory ecu wires to let you plug those vafc wires into them. anyway, i never trust those things on wires as important as the ecu, you are better off soldering every single wire, don't bother with crimping and whatnot, it may take a few minutes longer but it will be a better and stronger connection you wont have to worry about...better off safe than sorry. hope that helps a bit...but if you want to crimp them, you can get the female and male connectors to match those at pepboys, radio shack or home depot.

Go buy some new male/female connectors I wouldnt recommmend soldering them the wires are so small the heat will travel fast to the ecu could mess something up...the vtm signal the blue wire was left off of certain cars depending on year and motor...
don't worry about heat traveling to the ecu b/c the battery should be unhooked and the ecu should be unpluged while doing this install. It's safer and makes the wires easier to get to.
