A quick tuning question
hey all, i was wondering what would be a good cheap route to go to tune my car..i have skunk2 throttle body, dc sports hearder, ful apexi exhaust, aem cold air intake, and a blox intake manifold... thx in advance
You have a big throttle body and intake manifold on an otherwise unmolested engine. Your regular I, H, and E bolt-ons will improve some breathing, but are really precursors allowing your engine to breath when cam and compression upgrades are installed. These mods usually don't need/warrant tuning because the expense of dyno tuning a bolt-on engine is usually not worth the hp gained.
I hope you do have it dyno tuned tho, so you can show us your hp/torque curves with the setup you have. All of your components are quality peices, but usually the IM and TB go on when you install cams and pistons. You run the risk of losing some low end power to be gained back up top near redline. Hope it works out for you and let us know how it goes. You could also have it street tuned if your lucky and find a local tuner to do it and your ECU is chipped/socketed.
Edit: Damn, I thought these mods looked familiar. https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1
