Is it illegal to have NO 3rd mid breaklight either on your spoiler or the inside back window of your car in cali? All of a sudden my dad pointed out it's illegal so please answer.

 

Listen to your dad. He is right. Well at lest in CA it is illegal, i don't know about other states.

lol damn i gotta try to require the spoiler wire looks cleaner w/o a spoiler but it has tapes where the holes are

 

Just get a 3rd brake light then if you like it better w/out a spoiler

There's always a third brake light from the factory. Look on marketplace, you should probably be able to find a 3rd brake light for $20-40.

 

Thanks for replies, but firstly i should ATLEAST try to rewire the spoiler light, any ideas? im not sure if the wire is suppose to be short its literally about
