Default quick question.

should I replace the gasket if I pull my valve cover off? or will it be okay?

Its recomended that you do. But if its not dried up and cracking. you can wipe it clean and reuse it. i've done it many times.. works fine.

I would do it if it hasnt been done yet and if the motor is old with higher miles..The valve cover gasket with o-rings is pretty cheap..Just remember to put some sealer on the corners to prevent leaks and dont overtighten the bolts,,they break very easliy..
