quick question???

still kinda new at this but i was wondering what is the purpose of this attached to the bumper seen it alot but never really knew what they where for

It adds "downforce." But to me it seems like the same story as the old aluminum spoiler routine. Mostly, it's just kinda what's in style now.

those are canards, they're for aerodynamics.

its called a spliter or whatever, if i belive it for adding downforce to help hold the front wheels down under acceleration and cornering. some one can correct me if im wrong or say something if im right.

ya ur right, its a front spoiler but just like other spoilers they really dont work untill ur really moving
