Default Quick oil question

Well after my motor swap, I started using 5w30 mobil 1 synthetic oil. Recently I've had a lot of problems, and basically got really frustrated and took it to a shop because I didn't feel like messing with it. They found oil leaks everywhere, and after they found and fixed them they changed my oil, but put regular 10w30 motor oil in. I wasn't quite sure if you were allowed to go from synthetic to regular back to synthetic, which is why I made this post..

To summarize: After using synthetic oil for a while (motor only has 35k miles on it) then going to regular, can you go back to using synthetic?
