Default Quick maintenance question

When and how often should fuel injectors be replaced? I've got a 96 GSR daily driver.

Shouldn't have to be replaced too often unless you are experiencing fuel/other issues.

Not unless one is broken. You can usually run fuel injector cleaner through them and fix the problem.

My brother as a Fox body 5.0 mustang. It's the first year they had fuel injection (like 87?), and it has original injectors.

they should be fine unless:
you upgraded to some aftermarket parts (but you said its a daily) or if one is not injecting fuel (very obvious if this happens)
otherwise, get some fuel injetor cleaner if you really want to do something to them

is fuel injector cleaner really woth it. Does anyone think it does anything. I use to use alot of additives and now i don't so much. I don't really know if they are working. I think i used "restore" for the oil and something i can't remember what for the injecors. Just looking for what other people think.

There was only one time that I could tell a difference. I had a 93 Saturn that I got for $300 and used for 2 yrs as a beater. I dumped a crap ton of cleaner in the tank, and it ran much better.

well, i always used marvel mystery oil, you can put that in the gas or the oil, or like i do, both. lucas is good too. you get what you pay for. dont buy a $1 bottle of crap and expect it to do anything.
