quick ls/vtec question
to some of you this might be a stupid question but i need to know thats why im asking....if i go ls vtec do i have to change the water pump to a vtec on because when i read the forum how to build i realiable ls/vtec it didn't say must change water pump it say use ls timing belt if use ls water pump so is it ok to use the ls water pump. i need to know so i can go get one.
well your gunna need to get it tuned so when you get a chipped ecu it will eliminate the knock sensor.what is your whole setup?block,tranny,head,internals,shell?

nice setup.my boy has close to the same the only thing is when the tuned ecu cuts out the knock sensor you might not be able to pass for inspection.that's how it is in ma at least.unless you bring it to someplace that don't care bout anythin like me.lol I'd never be able to pass an inspection if I went to a legit place lol.but that's what my boy did too just so you know in advance.
