Default Quick Help please..

damn..im a friggin dumbass
Last night, i was putting my stock intake back into my '01 GS-R. I moved the resorvoir that connects to my radiator, in order to get to the bolts easier. But stupidly, i forgot to put it back. so today i was driving when my car starts smoking. The thing melted on my header... When i go to the parts department to pick a new one up, what do i ask for? Is it the over-flow resorvoir? Thanks guys...

coolant overflow reservoir(or tank) . the guy at acura can show you the part on the computer..I always ask to see the diagram to make sure we're both on the same wavelength.

AHahhaa my friend did the same thing . mashed his car down the street , came back and there was hella smoke . comptech header didnt look pretty after that

if you need to just okie-rig a water bottle to the hose . that doesnt seem like a part that acura would have instock .

good luck

when your car is cool.....check to see ifyou still have fluid in your radiator.......then add water into the reservoir tank to the fill line

Yea, you'll probably have to order that thing, but you can make yourself a custom one out of a small bottle like they were saying, until you can get one from the dealer.

o alright...correct me if im wrong..but the reservoir is just to collect the fluid that overflows out of the radiator? so i can just get like a plastic bottle or somethin...and rig the hose to run into it while i wait for the part? thanks again guys, you're awesome
