quick distributor questions!
can the internals of a working LS dizzy be swapped into a not working GSR dizzy? both obd2...
my gsr distributor that came with my head shitted on me today, and i have a perfectly working LS dizzy from my old head. let me know quick please!!
BTW: just to clarify that its my distributor thats the problem, heres what happened:
i was letting the car idle waiting for the fans to come on to check if everything was all good. it was holding a very steady idle. all of a sudden the tach decided to go crazy on me. jumping allll over the place, but the motor itself was staying at the same RPM. sound didnt fluctuate at all. this was followed by a couple small afterfire pops and the motor just stalled out. did this twice.... its the distributor right?
thanks in advance

anyone. someones got to know, i heard if i just cut one fot eh bolting arms off of the ls dizzy it will fit, which it seems it will, i just would rather not ut off an entire bolting location, leaving it with two does not make me that comfortable
i swapped the ignition coil from inside my broken 95 GSR distributer with one from a 98 LS, so I know those are completely interchangeable. What inside are you trying to swap?
