Default question regarding alignment and camber

quick question just to clarify something...

my car is lowered. i have front camber of about -2.0

i need an alignment. my steering wheel is facing to the right a little when i am going straight.

i do not have a camber kit. i do not plan on buying one in the near future.

my question is this.

can i still get an alignment (toe, caster) and also get my steering wheel on center without having the camber kit? obviously they cannot adjust the camber without it, but i don't care, i am more worried about the toe and the steering wheel.

thanks in advance.

You can get your steering straightened but your toe will still be off a little.

haha ... ya just tell them you want an alignment, it'll take care of your steering, your tires will still continue to wear unevenly though.

yea, i am more worried about toe wear than camber (from what i understand, toe wear is worse than camber?)

but just to get my steering straightend, i'm going to have to pay the full price for the alignment you think?

yes sir.

yeah toe is worse, but they can get it straigened close to spec depending on how low your car is. toe is when your looking at the car from above and your tires are like this: / \ camber is when you look at that from behind your car. so caster and toe should decent enough after an alignment.

get a full 4 wheel alignment, your steering wheel is turned cuz your toe is off a little, when the toe is corrected the wheel will be strait, dont worry about 2 deg camber, some guys run 2.7+ on purpose, toe is what causes tire wear, camber has some affect on wear but not much.
