Question RE: high flow cat.
I have a 2.25 carsound cat on my car, and I've noticed a bit of grey coloured smoke from my exhaust at high rpms (i can't see it in my mirror, I've had a friend rev my car up a bit to see what was going on, I've been getting a lot of black spots all over the back of my car and plate lately).
I've checked my plugs recently and they were really light coloured, practically white, so I recently replaced them and turned up my fuel pressure about 5psi.
I'm assuming if i was burning oil thru valve guides or piston rings that my plugs would have oil deposits on them.
Could this smoke be caused by my cat? The smoke doesn't look blue at all to me.
Also, at idle my exhaust smells a little strange, almost like varsol.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Adam
