You would buy it for a GSR.

if u reuse your LS header, u can get the exhaust for the LS.

 

The B pipes for the ITR,LS,and GSR are different. Note the 3 different pipes in the picture.

that all depends on whether he retains the ls header and cat or not. i'm trying not to get him confused.

IT DOES NOT MATTER. the shells are physically identical, and both exhaust manifolds will bolt up to the motor. the only thing you should worry about is this:
if you use a gsr ex. manifold and cat, use a gsr exhaust. if you use an ls mani and cat, use an ls exhaust.

I think he ment if he put a GSR motor into his LS and add an HKS exaust..would you feel the difference..

like u know if i go to hksusa.com an buy the hi power for my ls will tht bolt on to the gsr headers

 

yea just look for the diagram of those headers i see aroun don HT

no. the gsr exhaust manifold and cat are different lengths than the ls counterparts. it will not bolt right up without modification.

like it's already been said...
gsr header and cat - buy a gsr exhaust.
ls header and cat - buy an ls exhaust.

the ONLY time a GSR exhaust would match up to an LS/ITR header is for '00-01 motors.

anything else (in this guy's case too), you HAVE to get a GSR exhaust unless you are gonna get a different cat to fit, or use the LS headers (why??)
