If there is a small tear in the frame, and its fixed, will it ever be the same (ie on the track and such). The tear is in the wheel well btw. Its right above the tire, is that the frame or subframe? (i dont really know what im talking about sorry for the newbieness of this post)

I spun out and hit the rear and that caused the tear. The tear is basically right over the rear left tire. A friend of mine says the car will never be the same and I shouldnt track it again. Im gonna go get a camera and take a picture of it so I can get a better opinion on it. The tear is only 2 days old (as that is when I spun out.) Another person tells me a good frame shop can fix it, just make sure its a good frame shop.

Ohh sorry (extremely depressed and hard to write straight ) what i meant is there "is" a small tear there and IF it were to be fixed would the car be the same again? Would driving around with a tear like this be all right? or should I keep driving to a minimum?
