question about trunk and keyless
i have a keyless entry and everything works fine except for the trunk.
now on the keyless entry keychain there is a button "option" - should that open the trunk?
i have a 1998 four door gsr.

do you know if ur trunk has a solenoid wired to the latch for this kind of stuff??
if not...i don't see how you could do it remotely, since it would still need the manual pull on the cable to open it...
edit - or "turn-key" to open it...
also...is this the stock keyless entry...or an aftermarket??

It's the little cylinder type mechanical thing that "pops" your door locks or trunk locks. You need something to actually open the lock. These little devices are called soleniods.
