Default question about molding

I have a white integra with black molding on the sides. I dont have enough money to have it shaved, and i hear most of the time the holes will need to be filled and generally the car will have to be painted. Is there a way of taking the molding off and having that painted white? I havent found any white molding online to buy or anything either...

you can find painted ones ususally from a gsr but yours can be taken off and painted very easily

i would leave them on the car. it will save you time later. just do a really good tape job around them. ive tried taking mine off and it puts creases in the molding. prep it really well, sand it with 400 grit and use mineral spirits to clean it off, tack rag it and prime/paint it. if you want a shine, lay 3-5 coats of gloss on it. should turn out well. post pics before and after.
