Default question about buying a integra...

Thanks for any advice/suggestions/info you guys are able to provide
~~~~CAR INFO~~~~
1995 Integra RS
B18B1 motor (i think)
150k miles
M/T
1.) How close does the price of a 1995 stock integra RS stay to the KBB value? (higher/lower)
2.) What different models came in 1995?
3.) Is there a preferred motorswap for the 1995 integra?
4.) The car was said to be in a 2mph rolling accident.... Here is a picture of the damage:
In the close up, it looks like the bumper support is bent down. There is also a dent you can see in the passenger side front fendor. Is that bent support bar of big concern at the moment?
- What other important integra-factors do you suggest I look at when seeing this car?
I wanna say thanks again for any sugggestions/help, really appreciated!
To be honest there is no way a 2mph accident could cause that much damage! Unless the guy that owned the car cut the bumper up for kicks But to answer some of your questions:
1) Depends on the condition of the vehicle and who is willing to buy.
2) Pretty sure every model was availiable RS,GS,LS,SE,GSR but I'm not sure if the R was let out of the cage yet. (correct me if I'm wrong)
3) Depends on what you want to do powerwise... there's potential in the B18Bs
4) Read above statement
Hope my 2 cents help
Is there a common preference of motor to tune if you are going NA?
Is there a common preference of motor to tune if you are going to turbo?
Also, KBB value is at $2800 for this car, would you pay $2800 or around that for what you saw above? Obviously you would want to see more, but just from what you saw above and no other problems.
I wouldn't pay $2800 for it, not with the front damage like that. Maybe 1k tops. Hopefully the frame isn't shifted.
As a note, I don't want to start a debate because everyone has their own opinion and preferences differ everywhere.
With that said...
Budget is everything... How much do you want to fork out for an NA or Turbo build would be everyone's question. Sure there are good builds and there are common builds, but some people move away from the common builds because they want to be different. Some of the common builds I've seen so far for NA would be...
B16's and B18C's because of the vtec, but basically anything with vtec is nice... once again, it depends how deep your pockets are (K series). IMO you spend more on NA motors to get your gains. Usually the costs outweigh the gains. I would say that NA is more reliable, but with the right setup you can also make turbo motors just as reliable.
As for turbo, I see a lot of people turbo charge anything. B18b and B20's are common because they aren't expensive to replace. But like I said earlier, it all depends on how much you want to spend. LS-V or B20 vtec is something else that is nice to turbo, but there are constant debates about the reliability.
My suggestion for you would be to do alot of reading and researching and find out what you want to spend and gain.
honestly, i wouldn't pay more than 2k for it. a decent condition RS for that year and with that many miles isn't even worth 2.5k. more accurately, you could find something like that without the damage for 2.5k. factor in the damage and you're looking at 2k tops for me. 2mph bump WOULD NOT cause that damage in normal circumstances. one reason why it may have is that it's MISSING the styrofoam bumper support! you should be able to see it behind the bumper cover. if you do buy it, i've got an extra styrofoam support you can have. just pay for shipping.
