ps and ac removal
I was just wondering if there was any concern about the rack drying up or getting damaged after removing the power steering. It seems like its really hard to turn even at crusing speeds. Currently using the CTR N1 crank pully(single belt) with everything else removed
I removed my PS and AC no problems with it, takes just a little getting use to the strong arm method but after a little while you learn to like it a bit more and the little added power the but dyno gave me was nice
all thats going to happen is you are going to get alittle warmer while stopped in traffic and build up fore arm muscle. Your rack is still getting oil on it, no worries.
if your going to take out your PS, take the whole rack and everything out and then put in a 92-95 Civic manual rack, it all bolts up, alot easier to turn, and plus it's a lot lighter than the manual rack, alot of people say the ratio makes it worse to drive, but theres not much difference.
