Default the project is starting...

ok I have a budget of about 1800-2000 to start a project on a 100% stock 95 LS. I'm planning on starting out NA, and when the money comes in to maintain, i'm boosting. But in the meantime, the basics... i/h/e naturally. wheels, suspension next.

but then what. should i go for seats, save the extra for a paint job or turbo later? The only deciding factor is that I have to show my car. which means that its gotta look nice in addition to having mods. Rice is outta the picture, im looking at painting my stock sideskirts from black to white (my teg is white) and getting a lip to match.

If instead I choose to go more power instead, spark plugs, ground wires.. etc.

what I need to know is what is going to be the most cost efficient to my purpose.

opinions anyone?
and please, no flames. i'm having a really hard time deciding what is going to be the best route for a beginning project, with some track use, daily driving, and show.

you know, everyone's been there before. you pretty much described that you wanted power and looks... you also mentioned that you wanted to look good. how bout a set of wheels.. that's always a good start.

be wary when u say that at first you want to start out NA. getting high comp NA pistons will not match with your setup when you go turbo. by starting off NA do you mean i/h/e only or the bore'n out and pistons and the whole deal?

i meant just the i/h/e, going naturally aspirated may be badass, but far more expensive for the horsepower. I'd rather just boost.

Agreed. Just buy the exhaust if you want, since you're going to need that anyway. Stay away from the header/intake since they really aren't going to do much for you without being combined with other internal NA parts.

Aside from lowering and maybe some wheels, I'd just save your money for the turbo kit down the road

Good advice...

I'd go with decent wheels and a good suspension setup, like Ground Control/Koni Yellows or some sort of Tein. I personally like Rota Slips or Spoon SW388 if I have more money.
