Project Integra..
Hey guys, im going to rebuild my integra as a project car.
I plan on doing these step by step..im not sure what order i should do it in though..this is what i came up with:
1. -Full Repaint - interior, engine bay, etc
2. Auto to manual conversion
3.Add b-quiet to whole car
3.stereo system
5. alarm system
Buy new interior pieces - carpet, dashboard, etc
6. Built Ls motor - greddy turbo kit
I was wondering what i should do first? the car currently has a motor in it..should i repaint first, then do auto to manual swap?
Or
Auto to manual swap first, then repaint?
What steps would you do first..and why? thanks

They're more of a pain in the *** to do as opposed to expensive. The biggest monetary factor is, of course, going to be the tranny. Beyond that it's not really all that expensive. The biggest issue you'll run into is the problem of the upper tranny mount. Automatic and manual Integra's use different mounting arrangements for the upper tranny mount. I do believe that some companies sell an aftermarket mount that will allow the installation of the manual tranny seamlessly into an automatic car. Your other option is sawing the mounting point off of the chassis, then modifying and rewelding it in the correct location.
