Default problem with da

yeah so the other da my 91 integra ls decieded to not start got fuel but no spark, just figure it was cap and rotor or coil something simple. replaced those still wouldnt start. checked all grounds good. so no im thinking starter but i doubt it. compression is good all the way through, im also thinking timing maybe? but it wouldnt just stop running one day cause of this. i dont anythin else i could check would be great anything cause im out of ideas anyone run into something similar to this before

does it have like...an external coil kit? If so...try making sure ALL wires are plugged in all the way. If not....do you know how to test your spark plugs? Try that, and if that ain't it....try replacing the plug wires. If all else fails....try another ecu That would be my guesses since I've gone through similar problems.

yea bro, does it sound like it wanna start and it doesnt, or do the starter then click or anything? u gotta be more specific. the last time i had fuel and no spark, my wires where fucked, and the plugs where fouled out. you should try those first, and if not those, then check your ignition control module, thats located inside your distribitor, and coil. keep me posted, ill keep this on watch till u figure it out.

Could be your Diz. If your starter was bad, the car wouldn't turn over at all, as nothing would happen when you turned the key.

When my diz died, I was driving and the car just cut-off. Tried what you did, replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires, but that didn't help. Got a diz off http://www.car-part.com for $75 and the car ran fine.

not necessarily. I had a fried ECU and didn't know about it. Got fuel....got no spark in one cylinder but the rest I did. Out of sheer curiosity, I got another ECU...tried that and the car started But yea...try another diz and if that don't work ( I think it should ) try to borrow an ECU from someone who has a similar car.

im having almost the same problem with my dc...i just found the problem yesterday afternoon...my problem was that one of the wires from the distributor was loose and falling out...it made contact once and a while(which explains the sudden shutdown of my engine while driving!) it could be something as little as that.

What have you replaced on the car since it stopped starting?

Have you gotten the car to start since adding any new parts? Have they made any difference at all?

Bad / loose connections to the starter / battery or grounds can cause what you describe.
