greddy SP, about 5 years old, infamous primary resonator failure, what now??? Please dont respond and say get a new one because im not interested in dropping that much money right now. Has anyone replaced the resonator with something different and had interior sound level similar to or close to that of the original SP. Performance is NOT an issue. I dont want a loud interior otherwise i would have ust had a muffler shop weld a stright pipe in its place.

Anyone withg similar experence?

This is somewhat ghetto but in my '91 teg I replaced the resonator with a glass pack and to be honest, it wasn't much louder. The only thing you need to be careful of is where you place it. The first time we put it on there was a horrible resonance but we moved it 6 inches and it went away. I think the glass pack cost $25.
