i have a 98 4door and the powerwindows are acting up. when i try to put the driver side window up i have to keep pushing the button to get it up and it takes forever. the same thing with the passenger window, but if i reach on the passenger side and use that button then it goes up fine. the rear windows go up and down no problem. does anyone know whats going on with this and how i can fix it?

 

I would change out the driverside control buttons that are on the door panel, they could be the cause.

 

^ I agree. Check out the switch and I would spray the tracks down and the rubber with some silicone lubricant and then clean the windows real good. Works wonders.

 

im having the same problem with my ls. im just gunna get a new switch off ebay.
